GATE 2027 is expected to be conducted by IIT Madras and the notification is also expected to be released during the late July or early August 2026.

• The schedule of GATE 2027 will begin from July 2026 till March 2027. All the phases such as notification phase, registration phase, examination phase, result phase and score card phase fall under the timeline of GATE 2027.
• The candidates are supposed to register themselves for GATE 2027 in the last week of August 2026 but the normal application period would remain open till late September 2026 with a late application window expected in October.
• The GATE 2027 results are expected to be declared in March 2027 whereas GATE score will continue to be valid for 3 years from the date of declaration of result.
• A candidate may appear for one or two GATE subjects as long as he or she has chosen a permissible combination of the two as per GATE 2027 rules.
